We had a party of 5 and visited store # 652 in Campbellsville KY. I have never been so disappointed with a restaurant in my life. Our waitress Debra seemed not to care about anyone she waited on. She did get us “some” of our drinks right away then we waited 15 minutes for her to take our order. (She acted so unconcerned and started to clean tables, talking with other customers and checking out other customers at the register. She basically ignored us. There was a young couple in the booth behind us that was going through the same situation, wanting to order. (They still did not get there food when we left!)
The young manager did not pay any attention to anyone except for helping the cooks. There were not that many people in the restaurant either.. probably about 25 max. After we were finally allowed to order, our food showed up 20 minutes later. Our total bill came to $50.25 + 3.02 tax = $53.27 It was the first time in my life that I didn’t leave a tip, usually I am very generous. That young lady missed out on a $9.00 tip. What added to our aggravation was when we did pay the bill, she didn’t apologize or show any concern about her poor service. Meantime the manager…NEVER LOOKED OVER. We do have relatives in the area and have ate that particular Huddle House before. I would suggest you reprimand or fire the manager and try to find better waitresses if you want that place to survive. The cooks were the only ones doing their jobs properly.
