My Student Survey

The My Student Survey site offers an alternative for teachers in surveying their students. Gaining feedback from students is a great way to learn about how the students view the materials taught along with the teacher’s way of teaching.

How is this survey different for teachers?

The questions used on this site are much more objective in nature. Questions are more focused on the behaviors of the teacher versus judging them qualitatively.  The system will also eliminate completed surveys which are considered to be “outliers.” In this case, the surveys eliminated from the test results will include those which appear to be “non-read” by the student. This provides for better test results.

What are the benefits of using this survey site?

Teachers who use this site at will be allowing their students to “voice” their views. They will be given the option to actively participate in providing feedback.

The feedback will give insights which will allow improvements in teaching methods to be made. The time for each student to take the survey is around 15 minutes. The program is available to all teachers.

The survey site has been used on a regular basis from different states. This includes Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas, Alabama, South Carolina, Texas, and Florida.  Schools range from public, charter, as well as independent schools.
